HAEDONG YONGGUNGSA Temple, a Seaside Temple that Foreigners Must Visit during their BUSAN KOREA TRIP

I am 'Seoul Travel Walker' who share healing videos with you. Today, I will show you Haedong Yonggungsa Temple in Gijang-gun, Busan. One of the few beautiful temples with sea views in Korea. The sea that has kept many mystical changes since ancient times and shared history with mankind! There is the peacefulness of stillness, but there is also the fury that accompanies the storm. Unlike most temples, which are located deep in the mountains, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, as its name suggests, is a water hall where the dark blue sea water roars right under your feet. It is said that Bodhisattva Guan Yin, the incarnation of infinite mercy, resides in such a lonely place by the sea, riding a dragon and manifests itself. So, because the religion of Gwaneum in Korea is formed on the coast or on the island, Yangyang Naksansa, Namhae Boriam, and Haedong Yonggungsa Temple are one of the three major Gwaneum holy sites in Korea. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple was originally built by Naong Hwasang, the royal concubine of King Gongmin in 1376, in the 2nd year of King U of Goryeo (1376). Thank you for watching until the end.
